Hey 🙂

As a thank you to the pledgers of my campaign towards the new album (you!), I wanted to do a live off the floor recording with a full band of one of the songs on this upcoming record.

I decided to perform this song on my last tour as a look into this next musical phase for me, and because the album recording hasn’t begun yet (June), and because there will be no official recording of the song until the album completion… I wanted to perform it in-studio LIVE, so at least you have something that sounds better than an audience members cell-phone!

Furthermore, I’m so thankful to be able to play music with such talented musicians who truly do it for the love of it.. You should check them out. We all toured together this past Spring.

Guitar: Paul Maddison

Bass: Jay Stolar

Drums: David Heilman

Piano: Megan Cox

This was a fun day. David Kahne came to the studio and met the band – that was rad.

I just got back from a trip to Toronto. I was there writing with my brother, Brendan, who has been a writing partner for years. There are more than enough songs ready for the record, but I figured… since I have this time before recording.. and I’ve been feeling so much lately, why not head into my favorite studio and sing it out. Whenever I write with Bren I feel freedom and no judgment. The songs come from my soul.

On that note.

I hope you enjoy this video and song (that I co-wrote with Bren)..

Thank you Jessica Earnshaw for your honest delivery and beautiful talent.

And thank you, pledgers… for being here…. supporting me and this huge dream. The dream to share this music with so many people and where I am able to make some sort of difference for some sort of soul out there.

I am forever humbled and grateful.

Love Al
