A song from Alexz’s 2014 release “Let ‘Em Eat Cake” has made a year end list for the best songs! She came in #52 for “Heart Like That” on speakersincode.com ‘s Top 150 list.

Well, friends, here we are again. Once again, we haven’t listened to every release in 2014, so this is more of a “best of what we know” list. And we know some of you despise these things, but the truth is: we love looking back. And, really, we love a good list.
These are the songs that inspired us in 2014. We hope you find a few that you like.
Note: If the album was released in 2014, we considered the songs on it. Singles were also fair game.
I got to go to four tour stops of the “Let ‘Em Eat Cake” Tour: Birmingham, Nashville, Charlotte, and Atlanta. I took some video of these performances but due to my camera constantly crashing only ended up with 3 full songs. I have 3 partial recordings as well, but don’t see a reason to upload them unless you guys want to see them because they are, as stated, incomplete.

Alexz performed with all the passion and energy every night like it was the first show of the tour and while video can show this, it can never account for the live experience. She was born to do this and it shows. Alexz has a great connection with the audience and works to get them involved. She only gets better and I can’t wait until her next tour.
