Kickstarter Update – “Grateful”
As her Kickstarter campaign winds to a close Alexz posted some reflections on the campaign in her latest update:
Hey guys..
I am sitting here on a roof trying to find a way to write and explain in words how my heart is bursting. What would a bursting heart say? Next to simply throwing myself off the roof in excitement, I’ll try to express myself..
…I am beyond grateful and humbled by this campaign and whole experience of involving you in getting this music out there. I was frozen still after reaching my goal the first few days… the rest of this campaign has been the foundation of tons of ideas and potential plans to use this and help it grow into further music, videos and shows after this summer tour. I feel huge responsibility and motivation to make this tour awesome for not only the backers, but for every other driven, talented independent artist who is looking for ways to get their souls out there through song. You have made this possible and it is so cool. I thank you so much for that.
As soon as I get the analytics from Kickstarter, I’ll be sending out your goodies!! I’ve lined up all the merchandise companies and will be getting my online store off the ground right away as well as the skeleton of my tour route in the next few months. I’ll be playing an online StageIt show Friday night here from Miami to celebrate and thank you for your pledges!!
I’m kicking off with an EP release show at Rockwood in NYC April 24th, so if you’re in town, come by!
