Inconveniences
Released: April 30, 2012
About:
“Inconveniences was a mix of two songs. Bren and I had previously wrote a line we liked that was never used, which was “Oh, tell me where to go, cause people always tell me that I moved too slow”. We found a place for it in this song. This was also one of the songs that was performed at our New York showcase back in 2005.”

Inconveniences
It’s just another test on me I’m waiting to endure
It’s pulling out my heart and throwing it against the door
It’s just another thing for me to break to get to you
I’ll try and catch my breath whenever I’m away from you
Why is it when I need to bend they’re never there for me
The only time I get his time is when he’s in my dreams
These inconveniences are leaving me with bitter taste
It’s time to stop the clock this time I need some time to waste
I don’t mind working on the side bare feet
Take me to my baby
Leave me here keep me weighing down these streets
Take me to my baby
I don’t mind, oh tell me where to go
Cause people always tell me that I move too slow
Take me baby, take me home
I’m getting up again, I push myself, I do it smooth
It takes a little faith to get me back into the groove
Why do we run away from love we should do this the least
When people all over the world are bombing it for peace
It’s another thing for me to try to understand
Why certain fingers fit the gloves of other people’s hands
We hold the weight of all the world it’s underneath our feet
You take me on I’ll take you on I’ll be your concrete
I don’t mind working on the side bare feet
Take me to my baby
Leave me here keep me weighing down these streets
Take me to my baby
I don’t mind, oh tell me where to go
Cause people always tell me that I move too slow
Take me baby, take me home
Out of my mind losing it all
My baby’s behind I’m hearing his call
Nothing will stop me you can’t build a wall
Take me home
