The Chicago show was amazing! Schubas was PACKED! It was so much fun and meeting Alexz again just makes me love her even more. She started the show with Weight, which was beautiful. I have never heard it live before. Her voice is so strong and that song showcases it perfectly. She interacted with the crowd a lot and you could tell she was so happy to be there. She also sang Weight of the War, Voodoo, Saving the Train, Walking, Thief, Skipping Stone, Shout, Back of the Room, Shianne, Give Me Fire, Pleased to Meet You, Running With The Devil, and Chicago (which was freaking amazing. The crowd full on erupted and rocked out the hardest to that song). She closed the show with Mary, a personal favorite. After the show she went to the merch table and sold and signed what was left of the merch (she was almost sold out, which is awesome for her!!!). I had to leave then, so I didn’t get to talk with herafterwards, but it was alright with me because the night was already perfect. I can’t wait until the next time I get to go to an Alexz show.
