A magic night with Alexz Johnson
I wanted to get this down while I can still remember the details.
Tonight, something happened that I’ve been waiting years for….I met Alexz Johnson. I honestly wasn’t sure it would ever happen, and now that it has, I’m still not believing it.
There were only a few VIP ticket holders so the meet & greet line was short, Alexz was very sweet, and signed my “Skipping Stone” vinyl and my wife’s copy of “Reloaded”. I stammered out a few sentences and she was very gracious 🙂
The show was amazing, the crowd was small (prob 40-50 people) but Alexz made the best of it. She waved us up to stand in front of the stage, and sang and performed her heart out. I almost decided not to, but you’ve got to make the most of events like these when they happen, they might not happen again.
There is no one with a voice like hers, and I honestly believe she is one of the most underrated singers (and songwriters) out there.
Alexz, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. This was one of the highlights of my life.
