Alexz sent out this email to everyone her list. She is in the midst of her tour but still has about 6 shows left before it’s over.

Hey from somewhere between San Francisco and Denver, CO!

I’m writing you from the sprinter… thank goodness for wireless in this van. I don’t know what our 21st century media brains would have done.

I wanted to give you an update on this tour and the pledge campaign..
I’m 30% away from making my new album and it is freaking exciting. …I’m starting the process of the “producer search”. It’s important for me to find the right fit production wise. Someone who believes in the music and can capture the vocals and sound I’m going for with these new songs. Aim is classic and soulful.. a little throwback.

I’ve introduced one of the new tracks “Nothin’ On Me” during this tour, and the reaction has been awesome… it’s so cool sharing new material with the audience and getting a genuine reaction.

It’s been such a blast travelling across the country and playing for you!!! I literally live out of a suitcase, but I wouldn’t have it any other way..

Even when things can get overwhelming and hard, balancing touring, music and record making independently – I’m not sure if there’s anything else I’d be doing that I love as much as playing live and connecting with the audience every night..
It’s a gift, and I thank you for being a part of it.

More music to come, more shows to be played and amazingly talented people to meet on this journey.
I don’t take a second of it for granted and I feel incredibly lucky to have the chance to be on my second US tour… especially with such a talented band and artist, Charlene Kaye.
I will continue to bring you the music of my soul, hoping the doors continue to open for me to be able to do so..
