Alexz Johnson Streams Entire Soul-Bound ‘HEART’ EP: Listen

Up-and-coming folk-pop singer Alexz Johnson is streaming her entire debut EP, HEART, exclusively on RyanSeacrest.com before its official release date on February 18.

The 4-track mini-album comes fully equipped with bewitching neo-soul vocals, a melange of danceable beats, and a powerful message of personal growth. Songs like “Nothing On Me” and ”Thank You for Breaking My Heart” evoke a bluesy vibe with soft arrangements of organ chords, a backup choir, stimulating electric guitar riffs, and soulful vibratos.

The starlet, who first appeared on the Disney Channel’s So Weird, has also co-wrote with music heavy-hitter Bruno Mars. Alexz has even gained recognition from pop star Demi Lovato, who credits her as a source of inspiration.
