Alexz Johnson has serious pipes and a soulful/ folky indie-pop texture that’s won over The Village Voice, MTV Buzzworthy and Billboard to name a few.
She’s been ranked on Billboard Music’s “Uncharted” to watch list and has co-writes under her belt with Bruno Mars, The Civil Wars’ Joy Williams and Ron Sexsmith to name a few. She’s also been supported by some of pop music’s top women – from Nelly Furtado to Demi Lovato.
After a child-star career acting and singing Alexz was bound for success early on and the momentum continued into her early 20’s – signing major labels deals with SONY and EPIC. A few years older and a few Major Label-year’s wiser, Alexz is proudly independent. Last fall she decided to take advantage of her massive and extremely loyal fanbase — launching a PledgeMusic Campaign and successfully raised close to $50,000 from thousands of fans’ donations.
