WIGS Season 3 Q&A
On April 4th Alexz had a 30 minute Twitter Chat with fans talking about her character from the show and other things that came up. Here are the questions and answers said during the Twitter chat:
**Will any of Satia’s songs be released on a special EP? “Stay tuned…. đŸ˜‰ ”
**Is “Breathing in Yor Smoke” gonna be on your new album? “It’s not a track off my new record… It was written specifically for my character Satya!”
**What was difficult about playing this character? Would you take on a role like it again? “I love a challenge..”
**What attracted you to play Satya’s character? “The writing… she’s incredibly complicated. I was drawn to her right away.”
**What parts of your character do you relate to? “Well music, for one.. I also feel she has a similar surviver mentality that I’ve developed over the years.”
**When it comes to Satia and Blue, does their relationship get better? “The season hangs on a bit of a mystery in regards to that.. We’ll have to see what develops there..”
**What did u enjoy the most in blue? “Playing such a different character than anything I’d played before. That was cool..”
**Any plans for upcoming concerts/tours in the US? “That is definitely the plan!”
**What was your favorite song to record for the show? “Probably “Breathing In Your Smoke””
**How did prepare for your role on blue? “I took the responsibility of playing a bi-sexual very seriously. I did some research on other actresses I admire..”
**Do you like your “Blue” character? ” I do like her, she’s a brat – but she has heart and there’s something deeper going on in that soul..”
**I know “hero” by @FamilyoftheYear is one of your fav songs to cover was it your idea to do it on the show? “It was. It felt like a nice fit with the character. I think it’s a beautiful song.”
**Would you like sing on #glee? “I’ve actually auditioned for #Glee before…”
**Who did you enjoy to work with the most? “The whole cast is talented.. I really loved working with @rodonblue, he’s an actors director. It was awesome.”
**Playing a role like Satya, do you find yourself thinking how that could be you under different circumstances? “Definitely the “busking” aspect.. As a musician, you often think of ways you’d survive using your voice & instrument.”
**What’s the story behind Breathing In Your Smoke? “It’s being in love with someone you know is bad for you…”
**What was your favorite scene to shoot? “I liked the scene with @uriahshelton in the kitchen.. Satya has no boundaries and is oblivious sometimes.”
**Can you describe Satya in 3 words? “Manipulative, fierce, deep.”
**What was it like working with @MissJuliaStiles? “I’m such a fan of Julia.. it was awesome.”
**Why did you decide to audition for this character? ” I was approached by Rodrigo Garcia about Satya. After reading the scripts I was #hookedonblue :-)”
**If there isn’t room for Staya on season 4, perhaps a series staring @alexzjohnson Would both parties consider it? “That, would be sweeeeeet.”
**What was it like to kiss a girl knowing that you’re straight and have a boyfriend, what were his thoughts on it? “It was actually easier than some kissing scenes I’ve had with guys in the past… :-P”
**Don’t you miss having red hair? “a l w a y s.”
**Like i asked @MissJuliaStiles yesterday, what was the best advice u ve been given in ur whole life? “Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
**What do you think about gay people? “We are all equal.”
**How long did you have to keep your hair like that? “Ugh. I didn’t wash it for a few days in a row…”
**What is, for you, the hardest part of the writing process? “Feeling like the song is finished..”
**Did you get to keep any of your characters wardrobe? “She’s not really my style.. I got to keep the white/red shirt Satya wears on stage!”
**If you were given your own series on wigs, would you rather it be Satya or someone entirely new? “I am open to any possibilities!”
**What was the craziest thing a fan did to you? “Hacked me!”
**What did you learn from playing Satya? “It pushed my limits as an actress. It was awesome.”
**Off topic, but would your work with @LindseyStirling? Because that would be epic. “I played Webster Hall w/ Lindsey!”
**What’s your favourite sport? “HOCKEY! GO @VanCanucks !!!!!!!!”
**One word to define Blue (the series)? “Mysterious…”
