2014 has been a solid and surprising year, full of amazing opportunities, new friends, travelling and overcoming hardships.
Didn’t this year go by super quick?

I had the chance to tour three times, visit 9 different countries, play 82 shows, release an album I believe in, shared the stage with the youngest Johnson as well as some of the most humble and talented musicians I’ve had the pleasure of playing with. I conquered a lawsuit, started meditating, locked down some great mgmt, I grew a little (seriously, like 1/4th of an inch!) and made a promise to myself to LOVE myself and keep kicking ass believing in my art and my vision. After 3 years of incredibly igniting and unbearably hot or freezing temperatures in NYC, I’m taking my experiences, packing up and heading down to LA, for now. It’s a bonus that I’ll be closer to my Vancouver fam, as well as inviting some acting back into my world. Something I am most grateful for this past year, is the loyalty and support of those in my life, the incredible new friends I’ve met along the way and that fire that keeps burning, to keep dreaming. I have such belief and faith in the goodness we have to share and I’ve seen miracles. I’m not sure how long this planet will be spinning in space, but I hope to never take a day of this bizarreness for granted. I’m in love with being 28 and thank you 2014 for teaching me the true meaning of faith. Oh, and “shit just got real”. Cheers to the new, put to bed the past, and here’s to hoping every special moment lasts a couple minutes longer.. “Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom” – Psalm 90:12
