Week 4: This week is all about creating new content about Alexz for the search engines to find. Of what we’ve done so far this particular Week is probably the most effective at doing that. This week I want you guys to write at least one(1) article about Alexz and submit it to Free Article Reprint websites.
Free Reprint Article websites work this way: The content you submit to them can be freely used by anyone online anywhere. In exchange for this freedom they must keep your Resource Box in tact. The Resource Box is the last section of the article where you are allowed to plug your websites and urge the reader where to go next. This article will be a bit more help to you in understanding what they are and what they’re supposed to do. In THAT article everything under About The Author would be the Resource box.
Your article should be about Alexz and preferably point them to the website you created in Week 3.
Googling “Free reprint articles” will give you LOTS of different sites to submit your article to. There’s some bigger players in this area that will give your article, and your Alexz site, more exposure though:

If you chose to use EzineArticles it can take a week or longer for your article to be approved and go live.

Can you submit the same article to multiple websites? As a general rule, yes. Some, like EzineArticles, have terms against it since they want it first, basically.
Can you write more than one article? Of course!
Should I submit my article to more than one of the websites? Yes, especially if you are pointing the Resource Box at the website you created in Week 3.
How long should the article be? Between 250 and 400 words. Easier than you think actually.
How This Helps Alexz: The overall goal here is to give the search engines lots of new content about our girl to index. With time, we can change the search results pages of “Alexz Johnson” to fan sites, articles about her written by fans, and websites they’ve created specifically for her.
These Weeks are designed to build on each other and help things you’ve done help the previous thing you did. So it’s possible to try and get a lot of small things for people to find or push your Squidoo or Angelfire page you made for her up the search engine pages. Search engines love to index new, original, and unique stuff, which is what your articles will do. They rank these in the search results by the number of links they find pointing back to the websites. The article directories will do a great job of getting your site more links as people take it and use them over the internet. The free use of this content is a great side benefit of these articles as your articles about Alexz will spread across the web.
